Looking for motivation to embrace the change in seasons and cooler morning miles? Runner's Edge of the Rockies is hosting an All-Are-Welcome group training run to kick off their Winter Training Session; On, Oofos and Superfeet will be the sponsoring the run; Wheat Ridge-local Phun Bar will also be hosting as well offering samples of their nutrient-packed fuel squares. On will be demoing the following shoes for all intrigued: Cloudflyer, Cloudmonster, Cloudsurfer Next, and the Cloudeclipse. Donuts and coffee will be offered for participants. A marked route will be offered with a start and finish from the Runners Roost Lakewood location (more details to come). A 16-mile route will be marked, welcoming runners planning any distance with a turn-around option. Aid stations will be set up along the route to ensure runners are well-hydrated. On will be offering demos for intrigued runners. Post-run food and beverages will be provided at the shop. -- Runner's Edge of the Rockies is a Denver-based running group offering training guidance including Saturday training runs, training plans, speed and form workouts and trail runs.
