Jeni Mae McKenzie has a background in landscaping and botany and is the owner of Ophelia’s Plants and Flowers. She will speak on “Houseplant Killers Anonymous,” assuring people that they can indeed grow thriving plants inside with a few tips and tricks.

Dr. Tim Evans is an Assistant Professor and Veterinary Toxicologist at University of Missouri-Columbia. He uses a mix of hand-on learning and humor to teach people of all ages about toxic plants and keeping pets safe. He will speak on “Pet-Friendly Gardens” and what plants are toxic to animals.
