About this Event

If you’ve wanted to try drawing but don’t know where to start, this four- or six-week instructor-led workshop is for you.

Take the chill off your Wednesday mornings this winter with Drawing at the MVHMG. Join Peggy Roalf for a four- or six-week course that explores some of the features of our historic rooms. We will look at period fashions through costume drawing; historic objects through still life; and how we lived then through interior scenes, using graphite, charcoal and pastels.

Participants will meet for four or six consecutive Wednesdays in February and March, from 10:30-1:00 in our historic museum (feel free to bring a bagged lunch). No experience necessary. Materials included. Limited to 12 students for plenty of personalized instruction and feedback.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional instructor in a unique historic setting! Start off the new year by learning a new skill or growing your current abilities.

Session Dates: Wednesdays, February 17, 24, March 3, March 10th. If you sign up for the 6-week session, classes will continue on March 17 and 24th. You must sign up for an entire workshop; individual sessions are not available.

Price for 4 sessions: $140 per person, includes materials; while we cannot issue refunds for missed sessions, a make-up session at the end of the four weeks will be offered to those who missed a week.

Price for 6 sessions: $210 per person, includes materials; while we cannot issue refunds for missed sessions, a make-up session at the end of the four weeks will be offered to those who missed a week.
