Retreat four of four one-day retreats brought to you quarterly by Current Bliss and Kommon Ground offered locally in Sault Sainte Marie to guide your through seasonal shifts Overview of the Four Retreats: Together the retreats offer a strategic self check-in as our hearts and minds shift with nature. Timed to support you as you nurture your connection to self and the world, each retreat is structured to give you space to integrate the lessons from the prior season while stepping forward onto new ground. Each retreat offers accessible movement, meditations, activities, and resources curated to ease you into a new season. With heart-minded instructors and authentic leadership you will be motivated to try new things as you guide yourself in these seasonal inquiries.
This day will bring rest to weary bones, tired eyes, and heavy hearts. We will explore different types of rest, including physical, mental, and sensory rest. In preparation for the winter, we will create herbal blends to nourish body, mind, and soul. Inside a warm studio, we will engage in gentle breathing and movement practices that can bring heat to cold limbs exposed to the cold elements.
This day is for the tired, for the vulnerable warriors who seek refuge to settle their souls, nourish their bellies, and pause after a long year. For those who let it all burn down in the fall and are sitting next to a smoldering fire that will be your heat source for months as you let yourself be dormant like nature before you rise again in the spring.
