Winsor Woods Hike

Led by Alex Morisano. About 1 mile long, the hike on this beautiful preserve will last approximately 40 minutes. Please note that parking at the trailhead on Route 309 (West Simsbury Road) is not permitted, so the CLCT asks that you park at the nearby Swan Preserve parking lot on Case Street, which is about .6 mile from Winsor Woods. From Route 179 (Cherry Brook Road), turn onto Case Street. Follow it about one-tenth mile, and park on the unpaved parking area on the right - look for the Canton Land Conservation Trust (CLCT) sign. To get to the Winsor Woods trailhead, walk along Case Street back to Route 179 (about 0.5 miles), then onto Route 309 about one-tenth mile to the trailhead on the left.
