Last fall people across the country watched as Zohran Mamdani surged into office on the strength of a people-powered campaign. No corporate money. No billionaire donors. Just organizing, courage, and community.
Now it’s your turn.
Winning with People-Powered Campaigns is an intensive, hands-on, two-day workshop for community activists who are ready to win elections and govern in the interests of working people. Whether you’re newly politicized by recent events or a longtime organizer ready to scale your impact, this training is designed to turn urgency into action—fast.
Held in person in Baltimore City, this workshop focuses on the real skills needed to win local and state races this year—without selling out your values.
Who should attend
- Prospective candidates, campaign staff, and movement builders who believe people—not the wealthy—should call the shots
- Progressive community activists of all ages
- Newly engaged older adults ready to step into political action
- People frustrated with the political system and hungry for real change
What you’ll learn (and actually build)
By the end of two days, participants will:
- Create a field plan rooted in authentic community relationships
- Develop a small-donor fundraising strategy that fuels your campaign and your values
- Craft a powerful community vision and people-centered messaging that cuts through noise and inspires action
- Learn how to turn an election campaign into lasting governing power to pass policy after Election Day
This isn’t theory. You’ll leave with concrete plans, tools, and momentum.
