One of Wausau's largest event is returning for another year! Wings Over Wausau will take place on June 27 & 28 at the Downtown Wausau Airport!This event will feature a professional DAY & NIGHT airshow each day, the area's largest fireworks show at dusk each night, along with kid's activities/games, food vendors, full beverage tent, pilot meet + greets, chances to get up close and personal with planes and a full military + aviation area to explore! There will also be numerous static displays available for the public to interact with, along with local flights and flyovers.
ENTERING THE EVENT & PARKING:
Use the Emerson Street & Elmwood Blvd gates at the airport for entrance to the event. Parking is available on all surrounding city streets. We ask that you obey instructions from local police and event staff to ensure a safe experience for all in attendance.
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
Food vendors will be available onsite, along with a full beverage tent. Carry-ins are not permitted, and all bags are subject to inspection by security.
ADMISSION:
There will be an admission fee for this event for adults (being released in 2025), along with kids being FREE!
AIRSHOW PERFORMERS:
The lineup for this year's airshow portions is being finalized and will be released in January - stay tuned (it's AWESOME!)
