Wings of Liberty: A Live Raptor Experience

Celebrate the wonder of nature and the majesty of birds of prey at the library. We are proud to host the Avian Reconditioning Center (ARC) for an unforgettable educational presentation. Get up close and personal with four different species of raptors, including a special appearance by Max the Bald Eagle. This program offers a unique look at the natural history, biology, and vital environmental importance of these incredible birds.

In addition to meeting these live ambassadors, attendees will have the chance to examine feathers, talons, and other fascinating educational materials. The presentation highlights the bald eagle as our esteemed national symbol and explores the significance of these predators in our shared environment.
