This camping overnight is for women looking for a relaxed, social experience in the outdoors!
We will be camping together within one of the tent camping areas in the Paynetown SRA campground; these are โ€œpark and walkโ€ sites, so participants must be capable of carrying their camping equipment a short distance from the parking area. While there is no electricity at the campsites themselves; attendees will have access to electricity at an adjacent location. There are flush toilets and showers at a comfort station and water is available nearby.
The $10 event fee covers participantโ€™s park admission fee, campsite fee, firewood, materials for all guided activities, and sโ€™mores. Participants are responsible for bringing their own tent and other camping equipment and supplies (donโ€™t forget a camp chair!), as well as their own food for meals/snacks. For those planning to cook on-site, there are campfires with grills; the group leader will also have propane stoves available for attendees to use.
A few guided activities will be offered, for those that wish to participate. But you also have the option to just relax and chat around the campfire!
