This camping overnight is for women looking for a relaxed, social experience in the outdoors!
We will be camping together within one of the tent camping areas in the Paynetown SRA campground; these are โpark and walkโ sites, so participants must be capable of carrying their camping equipment a short distance from the parking area. While there is no electricity at the campsites themselves; attendees will have access to electricity at an adjacent location. There are flush toilets and showers at a comfort station and water is available nearby.
The $10 event fee covers participantโs park admission fee, campsite fee, firewood, materials for all guided activities, and sโmores. Participants are responsible for bringing their own tent and other camping equipment and supplies (donโt forget a camp chair!), as well as their own food for meals/snacks. For those planning to cook on-site, there are campfires with grills; the group leader will also have propane stoves available for attendees to use.
A few guided activities will be offered, for those that wish to participate. But you also have the option to just relax and chat around the campfire!
