⚠️ EVENT POSTPONED TO AUGUST 13th-16th, 2026 ⚠️
This will be the first-ever PPG event at Jack Barstow Airport in Midland, Michigan!
Join us August 13-16th, 2026 for the 1st Annual Wing Thing Powered Paraglider Fly-In. This free event was created to bring together pilots, spectators, future pilots, volunteers, aviation vendors, food vendors, and the powered paragliding community.
Come enjoy PPG flying, dry camping (for pilots and flight crew), a pancake breakfast, BBQ, vendor displays, great company, and a weekend built around supporting and growing the sport of powered paragliding.
This is a FREE event for both pilots and spectators!
Due to severe weather and unfavorable flying conditions forecasted for the original June dates, the event has been postponed to August 13th-16th, 2026. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to hosting an even better event under more favorable flying conditions.
PILOTS, SPECTATORS, CAMPERS, AND VOLUNTEERS:

One of the great things about Midland is the abundance of outdoor activities. Para-waiting doesn’t have to be boring! While you’re here, enjoy kayaking the Tittabawassee River, exploring the Canopy Walk at Dow Gardens, biking local trails, dining downtown, visiting local parks, and more.
RV SERVICES:
Water fill and waste dumping are available nearby at the Midland County Fairgrounds on Eastman Road.
