Wing Night at Weaver Cave Preserve
About this Event
Join Georgia-Alabama Land Trust on Friday, August 7th, at Weaver Cave Preserve in Anniston, Alabama, for GALT’s 6th annual Wing Night!
Weaver Cave is home to thousands of endangered gray bats who use the cave as a place to raise their young. At dusk, they emerge from the cave together, and Wing Night is your chance to witness this spectacular display.
Celebrate the bats of Weaver Cave with friends and family while enjoying refreshments from local sponsors and an educational talk from a local bat expert. Then at dusk, we’ll witness together the sweeping exodus as thousands of bats fly overhead for their nightly foray.
