About this Event
Beaujolais is a wine region in France known for its fresh, juicy red wines. In the US, many wine consumers know the region only by the bubblegummy red wine Beaujolais Nouveau. But as a Geological UNESCO site with hundreds of soil types, the region offers much more by the way of elegant, aromatic, and structured white and fine Cru red wines. At this class, we will look beyond Nouveau at the fine wines of Beaujolais that may just be your new favorite wine region.
Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will talk about the history and production of wine in Beaujolais, France while tasitng six of our favorite fine selections at Mallard.
Included with your ticket:
- Seated wine class with with Wine Director, Erin Dudley
- Tasting of six fine Beaujolais wines
- Small serving of Mallard snacks to accompany your tasting
- Discounts on bottle purchases of all wines tasted
