Cynthia’s passion for hospitality began early, shaped by her experiences traveling between Monterrey, Mexico, and Texas. Moving frequently since the age of 15, she experienced a wide range of hospitality styles, inspiring her vision for exceptional guest experiences.

She founded Refresh Spaces Co. to fill a gap in short-term rental cleaning, building a team focused on quality and attention to detail. What started as a cleaning service quickly grew into a full-service hospitality management company, offering design, staging, setup, cleaning, and property management/Cohosting.

Kasama Tastings is a woman-owned and operated private wine tasting company based in Austin, TX. Inspired by the Filipino word Kasama, meaning "together" or "in company with," our mission is to create inclusive and educational tasting experiences for all—whether you're a seasoned wine lover, a casual sipper, or exploring non-alcoholic options.

Kristine’s wine journey began as a student at UVA, where vineyard visits in Charlottesville sparked her curiosity. After years of teaching high school Chemistry and Physics, her passion for wine education led her to earn an Advanced Certificate with Merit from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. Recognizing a need for an accessible and welcoming space in the wine world, she founded Kasama Tastings to bring people together—regardless of their relationship with alcohol.

Driven by her passion for learning and connection, Kasama Tastings provides accessible excellence through curated in-person wine or non-alcoholic wine tastings for all types of drinkers and wine aficionados. Perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate events and more.
