Wine Tasting for Two with Rick Steves (Virtual Event)

Join renowned world traveler Rick Steves for a virtual wine-tasting event. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just starting your wine journey, you won't want to miss this incredible evening of wine education. Rick and a sommelier will guide you through a handpicked selection of exceptional wines from Italy. Immerse yourself in the culture and flavors of each bottle as you sip, savor, and laugh alongside Rick.

Expand your knowledge of the art of wine-tasting with the fundamental five S's: see, swirl, sniff, sip, and savor. Don’t miss this evening of discovery and indulgence, where you're sure to learn something new about the wonderful world of Italian wine – and perhaps about Rick, too!

All kits will be shipped during the week of January 20 at the earliest, and all kits should arrive by February 11 as long as someone age 21+ with a valid ID is home to receive the kit. Note that UPS will make up to three attempts to deliver the wine-tasting kit.

Ticket includes:

• Access to the Zoom Webinar
• Two hours of wine education and Q&A led by our sommelier, and Rick Steves will join
• Six mini bottles of wine (enough for two to taste) that will be shipped directly to your door
• A recording of this event will be emailed to you a week after the event, so even if February 11 doesn’t work for you, it will be easy to experience the event when it's more convenient!

Please note:

• Kits cannot be shipped to Canada and the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Utah.
• Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate in alcohol-related events.
• Ticket sales end at noon on January 17, 2025, to allow for time to ship the wine-tasting kits.

Share the experience! You can add an additional kit (for an additional cost) and ship it to a separate address! Just purchase an additional kit and enter the shipping address for that person.

Don’t delay! Tickets are limited, and registration will only be open until January 17 to allow for timely shipment of wine-tasting kits.

Shipping Details:

• Ticket sales end at noon on January 17, 2025
• Make sure that your address is submitted correctly (no typos!) Failure to type your address correctly will result in a shipping delay or even the possibility that your ticket will not be fulfilled.
• Ticket holders will receive their wine-tasting kits in the days before the virtual event on February 11, 2025.
• Kits cannot be shipped to: Canada, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Utah.
• Kits cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
• Ticketholders will need to be home to show identification and sign upon delivery to prove they are 21+ years of age. Wine will not be delivered without this. Please open your kit when it arrives to ensure you are ready to sip along on February 11! If you have any questions regarding your kit, please let PBS KVIE know.

How it works:

This virtual event will take place via Zoom Webinar. Zoom is free to the public but requires a computer download. You can download Zoom here. Your kit will arrive in the days before the event.

By RSVPing for this event, you agree to receive timely news and updates on events, films, and special offers from PBS KVIE. Your registration information will be shared with our vendor for the shipment of the wine kits. This will be used to communicate with ticketholders about their order and not for promotional reasons.
