Our theme for this week is: Italian Wines
• Cost is $30 / person (plus tax and tips) to the Restaurant for food and glass service
• Please bring a bottle of wine to share in the theme above
• 2:00 – 4:30 PM (Usual format - Unveiling of wines at 3:30)
Greg’s Announcements:
• This is our 29th Year (9/15/97 anniversary date)
• There will be a price increase this year as our suppliers (restaurants) have experienced rising costs in food and people in the last 18 months. The rate will be $30/person PLUS tax and tips (approx. $36/person). We will monitor attendance and if this gets to be an issue then the group will be discontinued.
General public is welcome. Our tastings are done "double-blind" – meaning the bottles are bagged so you can’t see what you are drinking and there is no list of wines in advance. This wine group believes in educating your palate through direct experience. Wine experts are on-hand for general information, opinions, and loose instructions.
