Wine Edutainment: Taste Like a Pro

Did you know there are only 43 sommeliers who have passed the Master Sommelier exam in California? Domenico Winery is honored to have one of them teaching this class! We welcome Master Sommelier David Glancy back again for the fourth event in our quarterly wine education series.

In this edutainment experience, you will learn about the physiology of taste and how to evaluate acidity, tannin, residual sugar, and other structural elements of wine. Start building your wine description vocabulary. Attend this fun session to gain confidence in knowing what kind of wines you like and how to describe them. Or use this as the start of your journey into the obsession of blind tasting.

While this event does not include food, our on-site restaurant, The Osteria, will be open if you'd like to come for brunch before the session or stay for dinner afterward and discuss what you learned with your friends or classmates. The kitchen closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
