Join us for a captivating wine education class where we pit the renowned wine regions of Washington State and France against each other in a showdown of flavor, terroir, and winemaking traditions. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or a curious beginner, this class will offer an exciting opportunity to explore the distinct styles and characteristics of wines from these two powerhouse regions.
In this class, we’ll guide you through a curated tasting of wines from Washington and France, comparing grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and the influence of climate and terroir on flavor profiles. You’ll discover how Washington’s bold, fruit-forward wines measure up to the classic, terroir-driven wines of France.
What to Expect:
-A detailed overview of Washington and French wine regions, including their unique climates and growing conditions.
-A guided tasting of representative wines, including Washington’s Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and France’s Bordeaux, as well as a crisp Chardonnay from Walla Walla and a refined Burgundy.
