On 17 October, we’re opening the door to something truly rare: a collection of ancient Hungarian grape varieties brought back to life and crafted by Szentesi József, who has dedicated years to researching, cultivating and making wine from these almost forgotten varieties.
These are not the wines you’ll find on every Hungarian wine list. They are Szentesi’s speciality, his obsession and his own journey into the roots of Hungarian winemaking.
Think of it as a little diamond of the Hungarian wine world: unusual, precious and not something you get the chance to taste every day.
For one evening at BOB’s, you’ll experience 7 of these exceptional wines, each paired with a specially created course.
And a representative from the winery will be with us to introduce the wines and share the stories behind the varieties and the work that brought them back to the glass.
