About this Dinner: Sit at our table and learn directly from Dario Pieropan, owner and winemaker of Pieropan and Riccardo Pizzimbone, Export Manager of Jermann wines, about the rich history and traditions of these wines, perfectly paired with a four-course meal. Together, you will walk through a tasting journey of four unique wines from each winery, the history of their estates, and techniques behind each bottle’s production, and how they pair with your curated meal. Not only will you learn how to perfectly pair each selection through your meal, but you’ll also learn directly from one of the most storied families in Italian wine.

About Pieropan:

The Pieropan family is synonymous with Soave quality, pioneering the region’s move towards single-vineyard bottlings and organic viticulture. Established in 1860 by Leonildo Pieropan, the estate has remained family-owned for four generations, becoming a benchmark producer in northeastern Italy. They are credited with producing the first Soave made exclusively from a single vineyard, Calvarino, in 1971. Today, under the guidance of the current generation, the winery combines a deep respect for tradition with modern techniques to craft wines that are celebrated globally for their elegance and aging potential.

About Jermann:

The Jermann winery has a rich history rooted in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It was founded in 1881 when Anton Jermann left the Austrian winemaking region of Burgenland and settled in the village of Farra d'Isonzo. The estate gained international prominence under the leadership of his grandson, Silvio Jermann, who took over in the 1970s. Silvio revolutionized the family business by moving away from traditional sweet wines to produce high-quality, dry white wines that emphasized freshness and varietal character. The Jermann estate is renowned today as one of Italy’s most prestigious producers, celebrated for elevating Friulian white wines onto the global stage.

Please Note:

• One ticket purchase is valid for one guest.
• Seating is first-come, first-served in a communal dining experience. Guests will be seated at a shared long table to encourage a social and engaging atmosphere. The three-course dinner will be plated.
• Sorry, bambini - this is a 21+ only event. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
• Please notify us 48 hours in advance if you have any dietary restrictions. If we are not notified ahead of time of any special needs, we may not be able to accommodate them.

Cancellation Policy:

Payment in full is required at the time of registration and all sales are final. No refunds are offered on classes and events. For groups of 5-10 guests, a minimum of 7 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event. For groups of up to 4 guests, a minimum of 4 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event at La Scuola. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class or event due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather or otherwise. In the event of a class or event cancellation, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided to offer a full refund or credit to transfer to a future class or event. While we are not able to offer credit, transfers or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond our control, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply. Credits issued for La Scuola events are redeemable only for future La Scuola events and cannot be used to register for events in other parts of the marketplace or exchanged for store credit or Eataly gift cards.
