WINDSOR - OPP Women's Focused Shuttle Run

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting an event to support candidates on their journey to becoming police officers.

Looking to gauge your fitness level before submitting your application? Join us in Windsor for an opportunity to perform the shuttle run. Participants who are successful in reaching level 7 or higher will receive a certificate to prequalify their fitness level for their application.

This event is intentionally designed to support women who are exploring a career in policing. It provides a welcoming space to ask questions and address common barriers specific to women considering this profession.

To preserve the purpose and environment of the event, registration is reserved for women (including those who are cis, trans, AFAB and non-binary). If you do not identify as part of this audience, we sincerely appreciate your interest and encourage you to explore our other recruitment events and information sessions that are open to all applicants.

La Police provinciale de l’Ontario (PPO) tient une activité visant à accompagner les candidates dans leur cheminement vers une carrière policière.

Cette activité est expressément conçue pour soutenir les femmes qui envisagent une carrière dans les services policiers. Elle offre un espace accueillant pour poser des questions et discuter des obstacles couramment rencontrés par les femmes qui songent à exercer cette profession.

LOCATION: This event is going to be hosted at the Major FA Tilston Armoury & Police Training Centre - 4007 Sandwich St., Windsor, ON N9C 1C3

REGISTRATION ELGIBILITY: Each registrant must be aged 18 or older to register for this event. Each registrant must have valid photo ID to attend.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation on Eventbrite so someone else may take your place.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED: It will be checked at the door. Name on the ID must match the name on the ticket.

Please dress in appropraite fitness attire.
