Martin Pickett brings a classic piano trio to play a mixture of original jazz and favourite standards.

As well as being a freelance jazz pianist and teacher Martin Pickett currently co-leads 'Time Is Of The Essence' an organ quartet with Pete Oxley Ollie Weston and Rick Finley also the organ trio 'Hummus Crisis' with Kevin Armstrong and Ben Twyford. In addition Martin devotes himself to Big Band writing with his own 'Once Only Orchestra' also for various established bands in the area. Previous projects include his quintet featuring two of the finest brass players in the UK; trumpeter Steve Waterman and trombonist Mark Bassey. The group's debut CD - 'Lyric Pieces' - was released in 2011 on SLAM records. Martin is also a house pianist for many acclaimed soloists including Art Theman Julian Siegel Bobby Wellins and Alan Barnes.

Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night every third Sunday in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music jazz followers aficionados and musicians. The bar is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks soft drinks juices hot drinks and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.
