Windhover Writers' Festival

The Windhover Writers’ Festival is hosted by the literary journal The Windhover at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. In February of odd numbered years, the festival brings in featured presenters in multiple genres to give readings and lead workshops. Our goal is to create a space where writers of all levels can integrate their Christian faith into carefully crafted work, find encouragement, and elevate their writing. In addition to the main events, the festival also features panels comprised of local, regional, and national writers sharing their poetry, fiction, nonfiction and craft ideas.
