Join us for an afternoon of community spirit, teamwork, and big smiles as the Windham High School Unified Basketball Team takes on members of the Windham Police and Fire Departments in a friendly and always entertaining matchup.
Admission: A suggested donation of $5 per person, with all proceeds supporting the school’s Best Buddies program.
What Are Unified Sports?
Unified Sports teams bring together students with and without intellectual disabilities to train, compete, and build friendships as equal teammates. The goal is inclusion, connection, and the joy of playing together, something this team embodies every time they take the court.
What Is Best Buddies Maine?
Best Buddies is a statewide program that fosters one‑to‑one friendships, leadership development, and inclusive opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Windham High School, the program helps students build meaningful relationships and ensures everyone feels valued and included.
