Step into the world of traditional Chinese art through a hands-on pigment painting workshop. Guided by the rich visual language of Chinese patterns, participants will explore their meanings and transform the inspiration into artworks to take home. 

In Chinese culture, traditional patterns are more than decorative, they carry centuries of symbolism, expressing wishes for good fortune, prosperity, longevity, and harmony. Throughout the workshop, participants will discover the stories behind animal and botanical motifs in Chinese art, as well as gain fundamental techniques of traditional Chinese painting.
