Join us for an insightful, half-day event (9.30am - 2pm) all about boosting your digital health and wellbeing skills! Whether you're curious about the latest tech opportunities or practice in healthcare, or just want want to sharpen your digital know-how in terms of digital wellbeing, this event has opportunities for engaging discussions, interactive sessions and opportunities to network in this field. Meet like-minded people, explore exciting new tools and resources, and get inspired to take your health journey to the next level. NHS Digital Academy Workshop
Host: James Freed

Info: Delivered in partnership with NHS Digital Academy professionals, this workshop introduces:
• Skills needed to be digitally ready
• How NHS Digital Academy resources can benefit your practice (whether on placement or in a career)
• CPD session on how to build practical digital and data skills to improve care
Perfect for building confidence and career awareness in an expanding field.

NICE - Digital Health, Real Impact: Skills for the Next Generation
Host: Jane Jacobi

Info: This session would equip participants with practical digital competencies grounded in real-world health contexts; ranging from understanding digital health technologies (such as apps, AI tools, and data platforms) to critically evaluating their evidence, ethics, and implementation. Drawing on NICE’s expertise in assessing digital health innovations and setting evidence standards, attendees would learn how to navigate issues such as data governance, clinical effectiveness, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
For academics, the session would strengthen the integration of digital health into teaching and research, enabling curricula that reflect current NHS priorities and technological developments. For students, it would build confidence in using and assessing digital tools in professional contexts, supporting employability and informed practice.

AI Strategy Power Hour
Host: Dr Jenny Crowdy

Info: For the final session, key individuals from the University of Winchester will explore the current University of Winchester AI strategy, and its importance in relation to digital health and digital capabilities. This will be part-talk, part interactive activity. This will include:
- Exploring the current landscape of AI and its impact on healthcare, wellbeing and use within practice
- Understanding current University developments and how it can support staff and external practice (i.e. CIRCLE AI research cluster, AI Hub, University AI statement)
- Hearing from university individuals on their experience, research and use of AI
- Collaborative opportunities to explore the use of Generative AI between all attendees
