The Galesburg branch of the NAACP is excited to invite you to an exciting luncheon event, including an exciting guest speaker, good company, and information about creating a new local chapter of WIN (Women in the NAACP).What to Expect:
• Learn about WIN (Women In the NAACP) activities and benefits.
• Enjoy luncheon and meet local NAACP Galesburg community members
• Hear from Dr. Kit Ford and R.I. NAACP President Bonnie Ballard, two Quad City phenomenal women, who will empower us about community action.

Women in the NAACP (WIN) was founded by Frances Hooks, the wife of NAACP Executive Director, Dr. Benjamin L. Hooks, to empower women and girls in alliance with the overall goals of the NAACP. WIN mentors young girls in maneuvering pathways to wise decisions and positive self- development. WIN assists women in leadership development and in addressing issues that affect the lives of Black women and their children, i.e., health, education, trafficking, serving in community roles, economics, being at the table on boards and commissions, and in the fight for civil and human rights.
