Celebrate the power of women in business!
Join us for the 6th Annual PowHERful Conversations presented by the Chamber's WIN Council — a vibrant morning of networking, inspiration, and community impact. This event is open to everyone — all professionals and allies are welcome, because empowering women entrepreneurs takes the whole community!
Your ticket unlocks:
Insights: A lively, informal panel discussion featuring a distinguished group of local women business and community leaders.
Perks: A delicious breakfast and a chance to win an amazing door prize.
Impact: 100% of the proceeds benefit the Entrepreneurial Grant Program, empowering women-owned businesses right here in our six #ValleyCT communities (Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton).
Our 2026 PowHERful Panelists:
Vicki Thomas, Chief Purpose Officer and Co-Founder of My Future Purpose, who continues to inspire others after launching a purpose-driven organization helping adults over 50 discover meaningful new chapters in life and work.
Candace Freedenberg, Founder and President of Untapped Potential, who left a successful engineering and technology career to build a nationally recognized organization helping women return to the workforce after caregiving breaks.
Dani Novoli-Santos, Owner & CEO of Enviroshield, who transitioned from accounting and operations management to purchasing and leading a 50-year-old environmental contracting company in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Dr. Koren Paul, founder of KPaul Productions, who launched a successful career as a professional voiceover artist, audiobook narrator, and consultant after retiring from a 25-year career in education.
Moderator: Sherry Konwerski, Business Advisor at the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC) and owner of Bonus Business Services.
Come for the networking and fun, stay for the inspiration, and help us fund the next generation of women entrepreneurs!
