Wimbledon Art Trail | 12th and 13th September
Wimbledon will become one giant art gallery this September as the Wimbledon Art Trail returns, bringing together more than 80 local artists and makers showing work in shops, studios, homes, gardens and businesses.
Over one weekend, visitors can explore a vibrant trail stretching from Wimbledon Village to Merton Priory, discovering original paintings, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, printmaking and sculpture while meeting the artists behind the work.
For 2026, the trail expands into the heart of Wimbledon town and village, with a number of local businesses opening their doors to art installations and exhibitions, including Elys, Day True, Farrow & Ball and Holloways of Ludlow. These join a growing list of venues celebrating the area's thriving creative community.
Visitors can create their own route, browse work to suit every style and budget, and buy directly from local artists. Trail maps will be available online at www.commonworksgallery.org and at local libraries, with each venue clearly marked along the route.
The Wimbledon Arts Trail is free to attend, with all venues open throughout the weekend and no booking required.
