Wiltshire Stop Smoking Best Practice Event - Nov 2024

This event is for:

• Those who completed their training within the last 6 months and would like some additional input to deliver stop smoking support within their workplace
• An annual update as part of delivering a Stop Smoking Service in Wiltshire
• Those requiring refresher training

Best Practice Events cover a range of topics that may include:

• nicotine addiction
• pharmacotherapy
• supporting behaviour change
• delivering a stop smoking service
• carbon monoxide monitoring
• case studies
• electronic cigarettes

 The training will be facilitated by one of our Public Health Specialists. If you have a case study that you would like to bring along for discussion then please let us know.

The event is free of charge. It is available for anyone who has completed the Wiltshire Stop Smoking Practitioner training and is able to deliver a stop smoking service in Wiltshire.

Please note that this event will be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams. All attendees are encouraged to use video call facilities to join to improve the interactive nature of the training.
