Join us at this historic community event, as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday, Wilmore’s 150th Birthday, and Thomson-Hood Veterans Center’s 35th Birthday. It is a patriotic family-friendly event that gives all of us an opportunity to recognize and honor 250 U.S. Veterans ... and maybe even more! It is your chance to meet and thank the men and women that have served our country!Event Highlights include:
• POW/MIA Tribute, Military displays; include the Traveling Vietnam Wall (360 feet long), Cost of Freedom, Global War on Terror
• Huey Helicopter, additional military memorial displays, and military vehicles
• Patriotic concert performed by the Ladies For Liberty
• Special Ceremony recognizing 250 Veterans with presented gifts of gratitude that honor their service, sacrifice, and commitment.
