Well the beginning steps are started. The 1st Annual William “Billy” Lewis Father’s Day tournament is scheduled! It will be on June 15th, 2025! 18 holes of captain & crew with prizes, 50/50, food and more. The proceeds will benefit Fed the Vets! Please be patient as we will post the final information on their Facebook page and website. I’ll eventually have a flyer to hand out. This is something that I need to do for my dad! For now, I’m seeking sponsors of holes & greens. I looked at other events and the price is usually $50.00 per spot. Of course, I need teams to sign up! I believe the projected price will be $75.00 per team of 2 players. Donations for raffle prizes are needed as well.
My daddy , Bill Lewis loved Willowbrook Golf Club, Doug, workers, the players and the entire sport. I spent years with dad golfing, having lunch, having adult beverages, and talking with him alone. It was a day I looked forward to play golf and be Billy’s little girl no matter my age.
