Willow Wheels and Winter Decorations + Social

Winter is coming! what better way of getting warm than sitting by a fire weaving your very own willow wreath? Come join the Glasgow Owl group event where we'll learn some basic weaving skills around the fire.

We'll be in the Playbarn from 6pm to 9pm on Friday 15th of November where you can come and learn how to weave and decorate a willow wreath from scratch, and take it home with you. We'll also make some willow stars, wands and a few other smaller decorations. If you have a willow base you'd like to add greenery to, bring it along.

This event is for anyone who works in outdoor learning and other outdoor community practitioners in the Glasgow Outdoor and Woodland Learning network.

What to bring?

- a drink of your choice (to mull on the fire perhaps?)

- a warm jacket (this is hosted in a semi indoor space and we will have the fire for heat but we have held this event in below zero temperatures so please dress warmly)

- your own artistic flair and any good chat !
