Jewellery Making Class | Lost Wax Carving | Make a Silver Ring

Welcome to the world of wax carving – a jewellery-making class that's suitable for everyone, whether you're a seasoned jeweller or a total beginner.

In this workshop, you'll learn the art of carving a ring using jeweller's wax, with the option to cast it into metal using the lost wax method. We'll introduce you to different types of wax and provide all the necessary tools to get started.

At the end of the day, you'll have a finished piece that we'll send off to be cast in the metal of your choice. Your ring will be meticulously finished and polished before being packaged and sent back to you. Throughout the session, you'll get a feel for working with wax and have the chance to inquire about casting pieces on your own.

We'll break for lunch between 1-2 pm, giving you enough time to craft two rings if you'd like. Keep in mind that casting both rings will incur an additional fee. Optional extras such as gemstones and casting in gold can be discussed on the day.

Good eyesight and hand dexterity.

We are currently unable to offer disabled access to the studio.

Each class needs a minimum of 2 participants to run.
