What: Williamsburg Virginia - 4 Night/5 Day Field Trip
When: September 7th through September 11th 2026
Cost: Will vary - PLEASE READ ALLL DETAILS to Calculate your Family’s cost (ROOM PLUS each persons activities cost)
KEY POINTS
You will need to provide your own transportation to Williamsburg, VA
.
Lodging will be at Kingsgate Resort, and all rooms have kitchens.
Room Options including taxes and there maybe a $52 resort fee at check in, one person says it is included another says it isn't
1 Bedroom $500 (Sleeps 4) one king and one queen sofa bed
2 Bedroom $600 (Sleeps 6) one King, one Queen and one queen sofa bed
If you want to share a two bedroom with another family, you can work that out with them and let us know. We will need to know which families are sharing space and who is responsible for getting the funds to us. We do ask that you do not go over the maximum number of people allowed in a room, yes infants are excluded from the total count.
If you would like to add days prior to our at the end of your trip we will accommodate as much as the resort has space for. Just please get with me ASAP and beware that weekend nights can drastically change the total for a room.
All meals other than those listed will be separate from the cost listed here.
As for a full list of activities and a schedule of activities, we do not have it 100% set in stone currently. There will be only two to three total actual scheduled activities, most everything will be come and go as you please. The resort will be offering a lot of activities we will all be able to attend as a group as well. We will do a pool pizza party on Monday. We will also do smores one night at the fire pit.
Activity fees include a week of unlimited visits to Colonial Williamsburg, a day at Jamestown, and a day at Yorktown. We will have a guide at both Jamestown and Yorktown to start or visit and then free time to check out whatever we wish.
Cost for activities are as follows.
Ages 4 and under FREE
Students 5 – 15: $35.00
Students 16 - 18: $50.00
Adults: $75.00
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Once you commit to this trip we are asking that each family make a $100 nonrefundable deposit, before June 12, 2026.
NOTE ALL SCHEDULED GROUP OUTINGS must be attended by each person signed up.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COMMENT UNDER THE SIGN-UP COMMENT ON THIS EVENT PAGE. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST as there is going to be a lot to keep up with. Make this comment once you pay the deposit include room size and a break down of who will be attending by age groups. 4 and Under, 5 - 15, 16 - 18, and Adults. If sharing a room include the other persons/family name. After the initial deposit/payment you will go back to the sign up comment find your original comment and under it comment payment made and method used to make your payment.
Payments will be due as follow:
July 1st Room Balance will be due in full.
August 1st All activity fees must be paid in full.
There will be no refunds, nor transfer of funds to another party. If something emergent should come up let us know and we can help try to find someone to take your place, there is absolutely no guarantee. NOTE THE FAMILY SIZE HAS TO ABSOLUTLY BE THE SAME AS YOUR OWN FAMILY. (example you have 2 adults and 2 students 5 - 15 and one 4 and under, exchanging family has to meet this same criteria.)
We will will do a couple of group fundraising events if there is enough interest. Funds from these event will be added within five days of the end of the fundraiser, when applicable. Each fundraiser will have its own details as to how it will run and how funds will be distributed.
If you are doing a fundraiser on your own, you will be in charge of those funds and paying those to us as regular payment.
