We’re delighted to invite you to a festive evening of family-friendly trick-or-treating, activities, and Halloween fun throughout Merchant Square and the surrounding area of Colonial Williamsburg!
📅 Thursday, October 22nd
⏰ Trick-or-Treating: 4:30–6:30 PM
🎟️ TICKETS $8 per child
Tickets are required and limited, so be sure to secure yours today!
Who needs a ticket?
• Every child who participates in trick-or-treating needs a ticket. There is no age limit — if they are participating in trick-or-treating, they need a ticket.
• Adults do NOT need a ticket, but participating children must be accompanied by an adult.
ARRIVAL & LOGISTICS
Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes before the event to allow time to find parking. When you arrive, you’ll receive a map showing the route of participating businesses and activity locations.
COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!
Come dressed up and join in the fun! We’ll also have a costume contest!
To help keep the event safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone:
✔️ Costumes should be fun, family-friendly, and inclusive for all ages.
✔️ Costumes should allow you to move safely and comfortably.
✔️ Children may wear masks as long as they can see and breathe safely.
✔️ Light-up and reflective elements are encouraged for safety.

Please note that event staff reserves the right to ask guests to adjust or remove costume items that do not comply with our guidelines. Guests who do not comply may be asked to leave the event.
