Will Payne Harrison (Nashville) and Rebecca Porter (Virginia, recently played Mountain Stage) bring their country/Americana songwriting to the Empty Glass, along with Charleston indie songwriter Sea Scout (Sean Knisely).A singer-songwriter born in Guam and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Rebecca Porter balances her distinctive storytelling with the dynamics of her commanding voice in a unique display of soulful classic country.
Will Payne Harrison has established himself as a fixture of the East Nashville scene, but he still wears his Cajun heritage proudly on his sleeve, as the newest album "Tioga Titan" takes its name from the small Louisiana town where he was born and raised.
The title track is a country/western tall tale about a “Titan of Tioga” — written from a first-person perspective — poking fun at the irony of being a big fish in a small pond while still evoking a palpable sense of pride for his roots and Main Street USA in general.
