Wildlife Wonders: Radical Reptiles

The Asombro Institute for Science Education invites you to Wildlife Wonders: Radical Reptiles! This family-friendly event will take place at Asombro’s Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. until noon.

Hands-on booths will be themed around New Mexican reptiles in need of conservation and awareness. Participants will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with live snakes and lizards, chat with local experts, and collect free trading cards.

Visitors are also welcome to enjoy the park's other amenities, including shaded picnic tables, hiking trails (including a paved loop with interpretive signage), outdoor amphitheater, and public art pieces.

Wildlife Wonders is supported, in part, by a grant to Asombro from the New Mexico Department of Game & Fish Share with Wildlife Program. The event is free but donations are welcome.
