Wildlife Rehab 102 is an advanced, hands-on educational event designed exclusively for licensed wildlife rehabilitators and their sub-permittees. This course builds directly on the foundation established in Wildlife Rehab 101 and is intended for those actively working in rehabilitation or preparing to take on more advanced responsibilities under an existing permit.**This course counts toward Continuing Education (CE) requirements for all Indiana licensed wildlife rehabilitators**
Wildlife Rehab 102 dives deeper into the real-world realities of wildlife rehabilitation! Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on advanced triage, case assessment, complex injuries, treatment decision-making, ethical considerations, and collaborative problem-solving across several different native species. Scenarios will reflect situations rehabbers actually face, not textbook hypotheticals.
This event also emphasizes professional collaboration and community. The goal is to create a respectful, supportive space where licensed rehabbers can exchange knowledge, ask difficult questions, learn from one another, and strengthen the network that supports native wildlife across our region.
This is not an introductory course and is not open to the general public. Attendance is limited to licensed wildlife rehabilitators and their sub-permittees only. Proof of licensure or sub-permit status may be required.
If Wildlife Rehab 101 opened the door, Wildlife Rehab 102 is about stepping fully into the work and doing it together!
