We’re thrilled to be hosting a free community screening of Night Calling—a documentary that has captivated audiences across Australia.
With breathtaking imagery of our South West forests and a storyteller’s patience, Night Calling guides us into the lives of local nocturnal wildlife: shy, elusive beings whose survival depends, in part, on the choices we humans make each day.
The film is both a celebration of their resilience and a reminder of the delicate threads that bind all life together.
Watching it on the big screen, in the BREC Cube Theatre, is an experience you won’t forget.
Following the screening, the audience will be invited to participate in a Q&A panel discussion with expert environmental speakers including star of the film Boyd Wykes from Owl Friendly Margaret River Region.
Together we’ll explore how each backyard, each garden, each thoughtful action can create a safe passage for wildlife across our neighbourhoods.
Displays from local wildlife organisations, a light supper, and the company of a community who cares will complete a truly memorable evening.
This event is supported by the City of Bunbury through a Habitat Bunbury Program Grant.
