Wildflowers of Pepperwood: Roller Coaster Ridge with Michelle Halbur

We will hike through two prior prescription burn units, showcasing how serpentine chaparral, oak woodland, and grassland communities respond to fire. Please bring a sack lunch to enjoy on the trail and plenty of water. Bring a sun hat, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes.

Meet at the Dwight Center upper parking lot (follow signs uphill past the barn, parking is past the main building).

Approximately 3.5 miles with some steep hills (moderate level)
