Enjoy a backyard garden party evening with apps, sips, and of course the Plant Swap!! - Bring 5 Take 5
Schedule
5:00-5:30 Check In
Check in with plants! Bring a minimum of 5 plants (perennials, houseplants, seed packets - all garden/plant goodies welcome). Plants should be in a container easy to transport for those swapping. At check in, you will receive a number between 1-5 for the Organized Swap. Use this check in time to meet and mingle with new plant friends, and peruse the plant selection. Jot down plants you are interested in scoring so you are ready when your number is called (don't worry, its chill, we are ladies and we don't run here).
5:30-6:30 Organized Swap
Numbers will be drawn at random (1-5). When your number is called, your group of individuals will have 2 minutes to select your first pick of ONE plant on your list.
Numbers will continue to be drawn until all 5 groups have selected their first plant. This will be repeated until you have participated in 5 plant swaps and have hopefully scored 5 new free plants to take home.
6:30-7:00 Open Swap
Swappers are now open to continue swapping plants, sell plants, or place plants you are ready to part with in a designated area where everything/anything is free to be scooped up.
Garden Vibes
I'm holding the fall swap in my home, so please be respectful and note that I'm not liable for your vibe so bring a good one. There will be music, sips, apps, and maybe a few fun surprises because Katie's house has to bring some whimsy.
