About this Event
RISING FROM THE ASHES
A Wildfire Fundraiser Supporting Namaygoosisagagun (Trout Lake) First Nation
From Devastation to Hope — A Community Coming Together
In the summer of 2026, devastating wildfires swept through Namaygoosisagagun (Trout Lake) First Nation, a remote Indigenous community near Collins, Ontario.
With very little warning, families were forced to leave behind their homes, belongings, and the place where generations of memories had been made. In a matter of hours, their lives were forever changed.
But from unimaginable loss comes an opportunity for compassion, connection, and hope.
Rising from the Ashes is more than a fundraiser. It is an invitation to come together as a community, to stand alongside our neighbours in the North, and to remind the people of Namaygoosisagagun First Nation that they are not alone.
Through music, art, food, and generosity, we hope to help this community rebuild and move forward.

Together, We Can Help Them Rise
Rebuilding takes more than materials. It takes compassion, community, and the knowledge that others care.
We may not be able to replace everything that was lost, but together, we can offer support, encouragement, and hope for the future.
Join us December 5. Come for the music, art, and food. Stay for the connection. Be part of helping a community rise from the ashes.
