The Los Alamos Fire Department invites you to WILDFIRE DAY 2025, Saturday, April 19, 10am-2pm at Ashley Pond Park.Families can explore LAFD and the Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) emergency equipment and vehicles, participate in a bicycle helmet fitting, and get a close-up look at a Classic Air Medical helicopter.
Other festivities include the Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m., bouncy houses sponsored by Freedom Church, and special appearances by Smokey Bear, Sparky the Fire Dog, and the Easter Bunny!
A variety of organizations will present booths and activities, including Los Alamos Community Services Division, Emergency Management, LAPD and Dispatch, as well as Los Alamos National Laboratory, the U.S. Forest Service, Classic Air Medical, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
