Before you head out on your next outdoor adventure, learn basic life-saving skills in case things don’t go as planned! Discussion & hands-on practice on hypothermia, altitude-related illness, splinting, bleeding control techniques (including direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquets), and other topics.
Instructor Will Petitt is a Physicians Assistant, member of the Douglas County Search and Rescue team, Wilderness Medicine Instructor for UCH, and member of the Medical Committee for the Mountain Rescue Association.
