The Wildcat Hills preschool programs will meet once a month at 10am MT at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center. Certified staff will lead various programs that include a story, hands-on activities and themed lesson. Activities will focus hands-on learning and observations, specifically targeted for early learners’ ages 2-6 years.A valid Nebraska Game and Park Entry Permit will be required for this FREE program. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Staff reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to unforeseen circumstances.

What made that footprint? Let’s be animal detectives and find out who’s been walking in the snow—and how they stay warm!

What animals use to live in Nebraska? Let’s dig into fossils and pretend to be paleontologists discovering ancient creatures.
March 17, 2026 – Signs of Spring & New Life
Spring is waking up! Let’s go on a nature hunt to find buds, bugs, and baby animals. New life is everywhere!
April 14, 2026– Pollinators, Flowers & Earth Day
