Wildcard: Mélisande

Mélisande is one of the strong female force on the Québécois traditional music scene. She built her career releasing four albums in the électrotrad style (an original blend of traditional songs and electro music) before revisiting her repertoire with an acoustic quintet on the album Rembobine in 2024. The success of her discography and concerts, hailed by critics and rewarded by numerous awards and nominations allowed her to present over 400 concerts worldwide. With an infectious energy and stage presence, she makes the crowd sing and dance wherever she goes. She will be releasing the new électrotrad album Sur la même longueur d’onde (On the same wavelength), featuring guests of different cultures, on May 8th, 2026. She will then be touring the new show with her [électrotrad] Quartet as well as with her [trad] Quintet - featuring songs from Rembobine and unplugged versions of songs from the new album.
