What’s your favorite animal? Is it a deer, a wolf, or a bear? Maybe it’s a cardinal, an osprey, or an eagle. You may like something aquatic, like a largemouth bass, a dolphin, or a shark. Or maybe you’re into something truly fantastic like a unicorn, a griffin, or a fire breathing dragon! Whatever your favorite animal is, whether it’s native, exotic, prehistoric, or completely imaginary, this is your chance to bring it to life! Come to the clubhouse in the campground at 1:00 p.m. and our park naturalist will give you everything you need to make your very own painting of your favorite animal, whatever it may be!All painting materials will be provided!
We are grateful to the Bronco Wild Fund Grant Program for their continued support in promoting access, stewardship, and preservation of public lands. Through their generous funding, initiatives such as trail management, campground restorations, adaptive equipment resources, and new introductory access programs are helping more people connect with the outdoors. In 2025, BWF is furthering this mission by supporting programs that break down barriers to outdoor recreation, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy and care for Alabama State Parks.
