Wild Weekend – Canal de Navarrés
About this Event
This summer we’re heading inland for something a little different…
Introducing the Wild Weekend Canal de Navarrés — a summer escape built around water, movement, and adventure in one of the most beautiful freshwater regions near the Costa Blanca.
We’ll be exploring the Canal de Navarrés area, a landscape of clear rivers, waterfalls, and hidden natural swimming spots. Expect a mix of moving through water, short hikes along river sections, natural jumps into pools, and plenty of time to cool off in the shade of the canyon.
Days are active but relaxed in rhythm. We’ll head out each morning to different nearby locations — usually just short drives from base — returning in the afternoon to rest, shower, and reset before easy evenings together.
It’s not a strict itinerary, but a flowing weekend shaped by the river, the weather, and the pace of summer. Some moments are about exploring and moving, others are about slowing down, floating, and just being in the water.
Evenings are simple and social — food, drinks, and a chilled atmosphere after a full day outdoors, with time to relax and enjoy the setting.
The idea is to get out of the city, step into nature, and spend a couple of days fully immersed in rivers, sun, and good company. Active, refreshing, and easy to join — even if you’ve never done anything like it before.
We’ll be based at Camping Playamonte in Navarrés, our basecamp for the weekend. It has everything we need to stay comfortable between adventures, including a bar, showers, and proper working toilets, plus space to relax and unwind after each day in the water.
