Free Forage and Wellbeing Walk from Haworth Art Gallery. Enjoy the sights, tastes and healing powers from nature. Learn from Pete Compo - Pendle Plant Craft - discovering about what's good and growing around us.
Everyone from 0 to 100+ is welcome.
Dress for the weather.
Enjoy some time outdoors with others. Gentle walk of less than 5K around - Hill Street allotments, the Lines, Hollins Wood, Jubilee Woods and Woodnook.
Haworth Art Gallery is open to the public from 12. There will be a Home Ed Art / Craft / Activity in the Community Room from 11.45 before the walk at 1pm
Please meet at the front of Haworth Art Gallery. No booking required. You just need to be able to walk on uneven terrain and up and down hills (nothings flat in Baxenden 😀) but we'll be stopping to take in the views, look closely at interesting stuff etc and going at a gentle pace. This great project is funded by a Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board grant to support active and healthy activities.
