While we will be moving at a medium - slow pace, please note that our route is likely to include uneven ground and a occasional sharp inclines, and is therefore not suitable for anyone using a wheelchair or with severe mobility issues. Please contact me: [email protected], as soon as possible if you have any concerns about this.

Duration

This Castle Hill Walk will takes around 2 - 2.5 hours, however as we will stop periodically to hear from our local Archeology guide, therefore the walk will take approximately 3- 3.5 hours. Please also factor in the time to travel back to Brighton (either by bus or walking) if you need to be somewhere later on.

Please note timings are approximate.

Weather

The event remains enjoyable even with a bit of rain. If we are experiencing torrential downpours, or very high winds the walk will be re-scheduled we will be in touch 24hrs before if this is the case. As we will be walking in January, many layers are recommended, a good idea is to think how many layers you are thinking of wearing, then add 2 or 3 more! Hats and gloves recommended.
